Project Description
Architecture is seldom composed of homogeneous or singular materials- more often it deals with assemblage. This course explores the idea of assemblage through fabrication and design-through-making.
This modular screen design has a reconfigurable mould system that could be reused. There are 5 types of moulds with different radius, and every four little pieces makes one layer. The depth is changeable by stacking up layers.
The aperture of the screen allows light and air to filtrate through.
Modules with various radius give the screen a gradient pattern.
